We want you to feel that your reading was worth it. This policy explains when and how you can get a refund — written plainly, the way we'd want it explained to us.
Our promise
If a reading doesn't meet the standard we promise — if it's not genuinely prepared for you, doesn't address what you asked, or arrives with a real quality problem — tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will either rewrite it properly or refund you in full. No long arguments.
Before a reading is delivered
- If you change your mind before we have started preparing your reading, you can cancel for a full refund.
- If we have already begun the work, we may retain a small portion to cover it, and refund the rest.
- If we are unable to complete your reading for any reason on our side, you receive a full refund.
After a reading is delivered
Because a reading is a personalised digital service, we generally cannot offer a refund simply because you didn't like what the chart showed — honesty is the point, and we won't write a happier reading to order. However, we will make it right or refund you if:
- The reading does not actually address the question you asked.
- It is generic or clearly not prepared from your birth details.
- There was a factual error in casting your chart (for example, we used the wrong birth data).
- There was a technical problem that prevented you from receiving or reading it.
What we ask of you
Please give us accurate birth details. If a reading is affected because the details provided were incorrect, we'll happily re-do it once at a reduced fee rather than refund — since the work itself was done in good faith.
How to request a refund
- Write to us through the contact page or at care@chatterjeejyotish.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Tell us your order reference and what went wrong.
- A real person — not a bot — will read it and respond within two working days.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or UPI provider, it usually takes 5–7 working days to appear.
Follow-ups instead of refunds
Often the best fix isn't a refund — it's a clarification. Every reading includes one free written follow-up within 14 days, so if something wasn't clear, ask us first. We'd much rather get your reading right than simply hand the money back.
